Man refuses to buy AC, wife commits suicide

Jamshedpur: A 32-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide late on Monday when her husband turned down her request for an air-conditioner machine for lack of money at East Bengal Colony in Jamshedpur.
Bina Das hanged herself following a quarrel with her husband over the demand of an AC machine, the police said.

She had been demanding the AC machine for nearly a week in view of the scorching heatwave prevailing in the Steel City in Jamshedpur, sources said.
