Bangalore: Four of a family try to commit suicide, one dies

Bangalore: A 42 year-old housewife committed
suicide by consuming poison, while her husband and two
children, who also consumed poison last night are being
treated in a government hospital in Anekal district, police
said.

The deceased was identified as Parvathamma, police sources
said.

The condition of Parvathamma`s husband, Ravindra Babu (50)
is "critical" while their two children, Bharat (19) and Vidya
(14) are stated to be "out of danger".

Debt burden was suspected to be the reason behind the
family taking the extreme step, police said.
