Bellary (Ktk): Karnataka Chief Minister B S
Yeddyurappa today dared Opposition Congress and JDS for a
debate during the coming legislature session from June 28 on
illegal mining charges being levelled against three of his
ministerial colleagues.
Addressing the newly-elected gram panchayat members of
Bellary district at a function organised by Tourism Minister
and mining magnet G Janardhana Reddy here, Yeddyurappa hit out
at Opposition for making allegations against three ministers--
Janardhana Reddy, Karunakara Reddy and B Sreeramulu.
"Instead of hurling reckless charges on them (Reddy
brothers), let the Opposition debate it on the floor of the
house," he said.
Yeddyurappa said a function would be organsied in
Bangalore on June 19 to felicitate about 70,000 newly-elected
gram panchayat members.
State BJP president K S Eswarappa claimed no evidence has
been established that the ministers engaged in illegal mining.
