Karnataka: 3 Labourers run over by dozer vehicle

Three labourers were run over by a dozer vehicle used for floor levelling when they were sleeping near a paddy mill in the early hours on Tuesday.

a dozer vehicle used for floor levelling when they were
sleeping near a paddy mill in Baladevarahatti village in
Chitradurga district in the early hours on Tuesday, police said.

The deceased were identified as Rajanna (35), Krishnamurthy
and Jagadish (22), police sources told.

"Since the labourers had wrapped themselves with gunny
bags, the driver of the dozer could not make out, and
accidentally ran the vehicle over them", police said.

The driver has been arrested and the vehicle seized.
