Kochi: Four members of a family were killed and
another injured in a collision between a jeep and private bus
at Sobhanapady in Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district here
on Wednesday morning, police said.
The deceased were identified as Chandran (42), his wife
Bindu (30), their three year old son Visakh and Bindu's father
susheelan (60), police said.
While three of the victims died on the spot, Visakh, who was critically injured, died at the
Kolenchery Medical Mission Hospital,where he was taken.
Chandran was driving the jeep, police said.
The bus was on its way to Kothamangalam from Neriyamangalam
while the jeep was coming in the opposite direction, they said.
