Antony to attend UDF meet on April 24 at Kochi

Thiruvananthapuram: Senior Congress leader
and Defence Minister A K Antony would participate at the
high-level meeting of the Congress led opposition United
Democratic Front at Kochi on April 24.

"The meeting will discuss the status of implementation of
Centrally sponsored projects in Kerala and also the demands of
the state before the Centre," Front Convener P P Thankachan
said here in a statement.

State Opposition leader Oommen Chandy would preside over
the meeting, to be attended by UDF MPs and MLAs and other
senior front leaders, he said.
