Explosives recovered from a rubber plantation

Kozhikode: Around 200 detonators and other
explosive substances were seized from a rubber plantation at
Shivapuram in Kozhikode district on Wednesday, police said.

Police also recovered two kilogram of ammonium nitrate
and 50 wicks, substances used for devising crude explosives,
from a private land at Padupara under Maloor police station
limits.

The substances were being examined by bomb disposal
squad, they said.
