Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Police hopes to arrest more suspects in the wake of revelations by Laskhar-e-Toiba`s arrested south India chief T. Nazeer, a senior officer said on Friday.

"A lot of vital leads have been elicited from Nazeer and in the coming days more people in Kerala who helped Nazeer will be taken into custody," said Inspector General of Police Tomin J. Thachenkeri.

Nazeer and one of his accomplices, blamed for the Bangalore serial blasts last year, are to be brought to Kerala from Karnataka. They will be in Kerala for a few days.

Thachenkeri, who is heading the Kerala Police team now interrogating the duo in Bangalore, told a news agency over telephone: "While in Kerala the two men will be taken to places where they had been active."

Nazeer and his accomplice Shafas were picked up near the Meghalaya border last week and were brought to Bangalore.

Following leads from Nazeer, the Kerala police on Thursday found out about the ammonium nitrate used by him to make bombs in Kannur.
