New Kerala HC Chief Justice sworn in

Thiruvananthapuram: Justice Jasti Chelameswar
was on Wednesday sworn in as new Chief Jusitce of Kerala High Court
at a function held at Raj Bhavan here.

Governor R S Gavai administered oath of office. Chief
Minister V S Achuthanandan, his Cabinet colleagues and
opposition leader Oommen Chandy were among those present on
the occasion.

The 57-year-old Justice Chelameswar was the Chief Justice
of Guwahati High Court prior to his transfer to Kerala High
Court.
