Thiruvananthapuram: South-west monsoon has been weak over Kerala. Rain occurred at most places in Lakshadweep and at many places in Kerala. Heavy to very heavy rainfall reported in CIAL Kochi, Vadakara 8 cm & Kunnamkulam 7 cm.
According to meteorology sources here, the other chief amounts of rainfall reports in cm are Agathi 6,Kozhikode ,Thalacherry,aluva 5 each. Karipur airport, Ponnani, Kochi airport and Perumbavoor 4 each.
Amini, Minikoy, Kavatathi, Hosdurg, Kudilu, Kodumgallur, Erinjaladuda and Kunnamkulam 3 each.
Erikkur, Thaliparambu, Kozlandy, Agadipuram, Manjari, Enamakkal, Piravom, Cherthala, Haripad, Kozha, Kanjirappally and Peerumad 2 each. Alappuzha, Kottayam, TVM Airport, Vallanikkara, Vadakkancherry, Chalakudy, Kayamkulam, Mavalikkara, and Thrissur 5 each. Hosdurg, Angadipuram and Chalakudy 4 each. Thaliparamba, Thalassery, Enamackal, Vadakkancherry and Peerumedu 3 each.
Kavaratty, Minicoy, Irikkur, Kudulu, Koilandy, Vadakara, Mancherry, Ponnani and Idukki 2 each and Kannur, Palakkad, Kollamkode, Mannarkkad, Pattambi, 1 each.
Forecast valid until the morning of 13th, rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Heavy rainfall warning: heavy rainfall will occur at isolated places in Kerala during next 48 hours.
Fishermen warning: strong onshore winds from westerly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55 KMPH is likely along and off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours. Outlook subsequent two days no significant change.
