Indore: Madhya Pradesh state BJP chief Prabhat Jha on Friday said here that senior leader LK Advani was the party`s "supreme leader".
Advani had yesterday made a veiled attack on BJP president Nitin Gadkari and called for introspection within the party over its current state of affairs.
When asked for a comment on Advani`s remarks, Jha told reporters: "Advani is our supreme (`Sarvshreshtha`)leader...We must follow his diktats. He is our guide....He has lot of affection for Gadkariji."
People of the country had great expectations from BJP, he added.
About today`s editorial in BJP mouthpiece `Kamal Sandesh`, which expressed dismay about "happenings" in BJP-ruled Gujarat, Karnatak and Rajasthan, Jha said the editorial was very simple and concentrated on strengthening organisation at the grass root level.
