Digvijay stands by his charges against Rohani

Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Thursday said there was no need for him to prove the allegations he made against Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker.

Bhopal: Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Thursday said there was no need for him to prove the allegations he made against Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani and if required a probe can be ordered into the charges.

"I have only brought into the open those allegations which
were being made against Rohani in newspapers and by some
people," the Congress General Secretary said.

Speaking at a press meet here yesterday, the former
Chief Minister had alleged that Rohani was shielding some
persons associated with the banned outfit SIMI and he was also
linked to illegal mining in the state.

"If required, an inquiry can be ordered into these
allegations following which the truth would come out," Singh
added.
