Sagar: Former Congress MP Dalchand Jain
passed away here yesterday after a prolonged illness.
He was 86.
Born on September 11, 1925, Jain was a freedom fighter
who had taken part in the Quit India Movement of 1942.
He was elected to the Madhya Pradesh Assembly in 1967 and
to the Lok Sabha from Damoh constituency.
Apart from politics, he was associated with many social
causes.
