Indore: One person was killed and two others
were injured in a mine blast at Pivday-ki-Tekari near here
yesterday, police said on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Prakash Banjara, who used
to work at the mine, they said adding that the injured were
rushed to a local private hospital.
The incident took place as a detonator ripped off when the
victim was placing it at the mine, they said.
Police also said that the mine is unauthorised, as the
state government had not given license to the mining operator.
The matter is being examined by the state mining
department and police.
