Six `fake` eunuchs arrested for extortion

Indore: Six youths, who extorted money and
looted people by posing as eunuchs, were arrested by police
on Saturday here.

The arrested have been identified as Ajay Nath, Prem
Nath, Arjun Nath, Arjun Lalunath, Balwant Nath and Uttam
Thakur, police said.

According to the police, all of them are aged between 20
and 30. They were arrested while trying to extort money from
the residents of a multi-storey building in Gumashta area
here.

During the preliminary investigations, police found that
the accused used to enter houses as eunuchs and demand money
from the residents. They also found that the accused used to
travel in costly cars. Police suspect that the accused were
also involved in the incidents of looting earlier.
