Bhopal: A Mumbai-bound Air India flight
with 70 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the
Raja Bhoj airport here within 15 minutes of its take-off for
Indore due to a technical snag, sources said today.
The hydraulic system of plane AI-634 developed some
snag last because of which it had to be brought back to the
airport here, after its departure at 2030 hours.
The flight was officially cancelled at 2130 hours
after engineers failed to rectify the snag, airport sources
added.
The flight scheduled from New Delhi at 1915 hours,
halts at Bhopal and Indore, on its way to Mumbai.
All the passengers were deplaned safely and were taken
to Indore and Mumbai by another flight this morning.
