Two primary school teachers from MP village kidnapped

Two government primary school teachers were kidnapped when the duo were returning from their school at Jhania village under Pahargarh tehsil of the district.

school teachers were kidnapped when the duo were returning
from their school at Jhania village under Pahargarh tehsil of
the district.

The teachers, Munesh Goud and Rakesh Jagga used to go
to their school about 35 km away from their village Rampur
Kalan on a motorcycle, police said.

Last evening when they did not return, their family
members started looking out for them and found their
motorcycle abandoned at a deserted place.

Later, family members of both the teachers received a
call from an unidentified person instructing them to keep
ready Rs 5 lakh each for securing safe release of the
teachers.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) D P Gupta said that
kidnapping of the two teachers must have been carried out by
Rajendra Gurjar alias Gutta gang.

He said that police teams from Morena and Sheopur
districts have launched search operation for releasing the
two teachers.
