Bhind: Two persons were shot dead and as
many were injured when the families of two groups of children
fought over a petty issue at Senthri village here, police said
on Monday.
The incident occured last evening under Mehgaon Police
Station when a group of children had fought over some petty
issue following which their parents also joined, they said.
The matter escalated to such an extent that one Gopal
Singh and his family members shot dead Maharaj Singh and
Sarnam Singh belonging to the rival group and also injured two
others.
Police have registered a case against Gopal Singh and
10 others in this regard. The accused are absconding and so
far no arrests have been made.
Police force has been deployed in the village
following tension due to the incident.
