2 Municipal Council officials caught taking bribe

Anti-Corruption Bureau has caught two officials of Bhadgaon Municipal Council for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 90,000 in neighbouring Jalgaon district.

Nashik: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has
caught two officials of Bhadgaon Municipal Council for
allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 90,000 in neighbouring
Jalgaon district.

Snehal Sudhakar Vispute and Ravindra Maharu Jadhav had
demanded the bribe from a man for sanctioning lay out of his
non-agriculture land on Bhadgaon-Pachora Road, an ACB release
said today.

The man lodged a complaint with ACB which laid a trap
and caught the duo accepting the bribe amount last evening, it
added.
