7 Cong leaders of Digras expelled for anti-party activities

Seven local Congress leaders from Digras Assembly constituency were expelled from the primary membership for allegedly indulging in anti-party activities during Maharashtra Assembly elections, party sources said here on Saturday.

District Congress Committee President and newly elected
MLA of Wani Wamanrao Kasawar served the expulsion order on
seven local party leaders of Digras on Friday, they said.

Digras Taluka Committee President Bhanudas Shinde, Arun
Rathod (Panchayat Samiti Chairman), Santosh Rathod (Vice
Chairman of Panchayat Samiti), Sudhakar Jadhav (Secretary of
YDCC), Vijay Ghate (Taluka General Secretary), Rajendra Shelke
and Ashok Thakre Patil were expelled from primary membership
of the party for six years for anti-party activities during
elections, they said.
