Thane: A builder from the powerloom town of Bhiwandi in the district was shot at and injured by unidentified assailants, police said on Sunday.
Builder Atmaram Gulagi was attacked near his house at around 10.30 PM yesterday by men, who came on a bike and fired at him from point blank range, assistant police inspector D G Gautam said.
The builder was later admitted to a hospital.
Police have launched a manhunt for the shooters.
An offence under relevant sections of IPC and Arms Act has been registered, police added.
