Mumbai: Mumbai Police has busted a high-profile sex racket and has arrested two models from Goregaon area, as per a media report.
As per India Today, one of the two arrested models is said to be a known female TV actor.
She is supposedly seen regularly on the crime show 'Savdhaan India'.
As per the report, the boss of the racket has not been arrested as yet.
Mumbai Police's social service branch had received a tip-off regarding a high-profile sex racket. An undercover cop posing as a 'supplier' contacted some persons reportedly associated with the racket.
The police team the raided a building near Film City and arrested the two models and another two persons.
The website quoted police as saying that the operatives of the racket used to share photos of the models and actors with their prospective clients through social media sites and then supplied models to them who allegedly charged between Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh per assignment.
The report further said that the police arrested the TV actor and a female Marathi actor after interrogating one of the persons.
