Mumbai: In view of upcoming festival season and the elections of the local self bodies,
Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil on Friday said that police should keep the criminals in check to prevent untoward incidents.
Patil held a meeting with top police officers here.
An official release said that Patil urged that police should be sensitive while attending to work of the common people.
People should not need to run to Mantralay, he said.
