Thane: Thane Rural police on Sunday booked a man from Nallasopara of Thane district`s western part for allegedly burning his wife for a petty reason, the police said.

Police Sanja Nikam of the Nallasopara police station told PTI that it was on June 1, when the accused Nandakumar Gautam Barsale, a resident of Nallasopara asked his wife to serve him lunch.
