Mercury rises in Nashik, north Maharashtra

Nashik: Nashik and surrounding areas are
experiencing a heat wave for the past couple of days, with the
temperatures going above 40 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperature in the city was 40 degree Celsius
yesterday, while it was 43.4 in the nearby Malegaon.

Jalgaon in North Maharashtra recorded maximum temperature
of 45 degree Celsius. Maximum temperatures in Dhule and
Nandurbar too hovered in 40-42 range.
