Akola: Tension prevailed since last night on Bhandpura Road in the old city area after two groups clashed over a trivial matter leading to heavy stone pelting and damage to vehicles.
Five two wheelers and one motorcycle were targeted by an unruly mob of youth.
The reason behind the clash is suspected to be eve-teasing of a minor girl in the same locality.
Over a dozen youth were arrested until today morning and more arrests are likely.
Cases of rioting have been registered against both the groups and further investigation is on.
