Nine injured in clash between two groups in Akola

Akola: Nine persons were injured in a
clash between two groups in Sontakke plot area of the old city
here, police said today.

The clash occurred last night as one of the groups was
opposed to the engagement of a girl related to the other.
Following this, members of both the groups attacked each other
with arms in which nine persons were injured, they said.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a local
hospital, police said adding that further investigations are
on.
