Mumbai: Swabhimaan Sanghatana, the NGO led by Maharashtra Revenue Minister Narayan Rane`s son Nitesh, is helping students of Mumbai University get their marksheets speedily.

The students do not get final year marksheets in time, and face a problem in producing them at job interviews, a Sanghatana spokesperson said.
The issue came to light when some students approached Swabhimaan saying they did not receive marksheets of their final year exam, held in April 2010.

Swabhimaan members met Vilas Shine, Controller of Examinations, who assured them that all the students will receive their computerised marksheets in 20 days, the spokesperson said.
Swabhimaan has raised the issue with Dr Rajan Welukar, Vice-Chancellor, Mumbai University, as delay in getting marksheets is damaging jobs prospects of the students, the spokesperson said.
