Teenager gang raped near Kalyan station

Thane: Three youths allegedly gang raped
a 17-year-old girl near the Kalyan railway station in the wee
hours of on Tuesday, police said.

The victim was sitting with her boyfriend near the
station, located on Mumbai`s outskirts, when the trio arrived
at the scene. The youths hit the girl`s boyfriend with a blade
and drove him away, they said.

They dragged the teenager to an isolated place,
sexually assaulted her and fled from the spot, police said.

Police have registered a case of rape and launched a
manhunt for the rapists.
