Nagpur: Vidarbha region in Maharashtra
continued to reel under an intense heatwave with Chandrapur
district today recording a temperature of 47.3 degrees
Celsius.
Wardha followed closely with 47.1 degrees Celsius,
while Bramhapuri town recorded 46.9 degrees Celsius, the Met
department said here.
Nagpur, the state`s second capital, recorded 46.1
degrees Celsius.
Temperatures of other important cities were: Akola-
45.7, Amravati-44.5, Buldana-42 and Washim-43.6 degrees
Celsius, it added.
