59% believe India will never get rid of corruption: Zee News Poll

Despite manifestos of many political parties pledging to put an end to corruption in India, a large number of people still believe that the country would never become corruption free.

New Delhi: Despite manifestos of many political parties pledging to put an end to corruption in India, a large number of people still believe that the country would never become corruption free.

As per a poll conducted by Zee News, 59 percent people felt that corruption will never end in the country even if new government is formed at the Centre. However, 41% people have optimistic approach in this regard.

The `Zee News AB Meri Baari Poll` was conducted via SMS and through online voting.

The question posed to them was – Can India ever become corruption free?

Sandeep Gupta of Kutch (Gujarat) won Monday`s Rs 10,000 cash prize.
