Accidental blast at Baglihar site in Ramban, 9 injured

Jammu: An accidental detonator blast took
place at Baglihar hydro-electric power project site, resulting
in injuries to nine labourers in Chanderkote belt of Ramban
district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Some labourers were carrying detonators at the 460
mega watts project site when the accident took place,
resulting in injuries to nine labourers near plunge pool at
Baghilar site last night, police officials said.

The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital
from where they were referred to Udhampur and Jammu, they
said adding it was a case of negligence and we have taken the
cognizance while a case has also been registered.
