‘Anna aides trying to dictate terms to govt’

Rehti: Congress general secretary B K
Hari Prasad on Sunday said that it was strange that few aides of
Anna Hazare were trying to dictate terms to the central
government.

Addressing an "Adivasi Swabhiman Chetna" rally here, Hari
Prasad said it was strange that five people sitting with Anna
Hazare in New Delhi were trying to dictate terms to the
central government."

Some of these people had long careers in government
service when they never gave a thought to corruption, he said
adding he was not sure whether these people had ever visited a
village, mingled with minorities or have any inkling of the
problems faced by the people.

He also charged that it was BJP and the RSS who were
backing Hazare`s campaign against corruption.

Referring to the use of Gandhi caps by the people
participating in Anna`s campaign, Hari Prasad recalled that
when he was President of the All India Seva Dal, he had tough
time finding Gandhi caps in the country but now all of a
sudden, the market is flooded with Gandhi caps.

He also challenged Anna`s aides to contest elections.

"I challenge those with Anna to contest the next Lok
Sabha elections. If people think we are corrupt, we will be
defeated and these people will be voted to power," Hari Prasad
said.
