Lucknow: Baba Ramdev, who shot to fame by teaching yoga to the Indian masses, believes the Indian National Congress will split after the 2014 General Elections.

Ramdev says the Congress is on the road to suffering a humiliating defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.

Ramdev made the remarks while speaking to reporters here.

"The Congress is on its death bed," he said, predicting less than 100 seats for the ruling national party.

For the BJP, Ramdev said the opposition party will win over 300 seats along with its allies Shiv Sena and SAD.

Ramdev further pitched for BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi, calling him the beacon of hope for the people.

"Modiji has a good track record of governance and proved that under him people can prosper and dream of a better future," he stated.
