New Delhi: With apparently Left rivals in Kerala on mind, Shashi Tharoor today said bandhs are a social evil and should be resisted.
"Hartal and bandhs cost India great economic losses. Must refuse to abide by them. Don't be intimidated. Say NO to Hartals by going to work!," Tharoor tweeted.
"Hartal today called by Left. Travel Operators Association of Kerala (TOAK) will resist this social evil & run their taxis. Resist all bandhs," he added.
Left parties had today called for a nationwide bandh against price rise.
