‘BJP rebels in Mumbai would not be taken back’

The Mumbai unit of BJP would be felicitating its newly elected corporators of BMC on February 27.

Mumbai: The Mumbai unit of BJP would be
felicitating its newly elected corporators of Brihanmumbai
Municipal Corporation (BMC) on February 27.

"We will felicitate our 31 corporators who have won in
the BMC elections and also those who did well but could not
win," Mumbai BJP president Raj Purohit said.

However, Purohit categorically stated that rebels would not be taken back into the party.

Senior leaders such as Gopinath Munde, Maharashtra BJP in-charge Venkaiah Naidu, state party chief Sudhir
Mungantiwar, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly
Eknath Khadse, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Vinod Tawade and others would be present for the function.
