New Delhi: BJP will soon launch a `bhanda
phor` (expose) campaign against Congress, BSP, SP and RJD to
show the "deal" they made with UPA government on the issue of
price rise during cut-motions in Parliament.
A statement issued by BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas
Naqvi here described as "shameful" the conduct of BSP, SP and
RJD in bailing out the government over the cut-motions on
price hike (last week in Parliament).
He said the campaign will start from Uttar Pradesh and
Bihar shortly.
While BSP favoured the UPA government by voting against
the cut-motions (moved by Opposition against price hike), SP
and RJD had abstained from voting by walking out of the Lok
Sabha just before the crucial process began.
Referring to SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and RJD chief
Lalu Prasad`s statements that they did not want to seen on the
same side as the "communal" BJP in favouring the cut motions,
Naqvi said, "The BJP had not brought in the cut-motions for
creating any `Hindu Rashtra`, but for curtailing the price of
fuel and fertiliser. So if some people smell any communalism,
they are insulting secularism."
The BJP leader also alleged that cases against BSP chief
Mayawati were "diluted" by the Centre, when it required the
UP-based party`s support.
