TG Rimpoche, Congress MLA from Lumla and a close
associate of the Buddhist spiritual head said that the visit of the Dalai Lama in November was confirmed, but his visit needed clearance from Union Home Ministry.
He said since Dalai Lama, who last visited the state
in 2003, had Z-plus security and his itinerary was not being
disclosed.

He was likely to visit the famous over 300-year-old
monastery in Tawang district and give a religious discourse.
He is also expected to visit a new under-construction
hospital in Tawang for which he had contributed Rs 20 lakh.
