Dantewada attack: Haryana govt to give employment to widows

Haryana today allotted industrial plots to 19 companies, including Nestle, Gail and Delta India, for setting up new projects, which will entail an investment of Rs 1,100 crore and will provide employment to 6,000 people.

Bhiwani: Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced employment would be given to the
widows of the two Jawans of CRPF who hailed from the state and had sacrificed their lives while fighting Naxalites at Dantewada.

He also announced Rs 25 lakh each to the villages of the
jawans for developmental work.

The Chief Minister, on a visit to the villages Nandgaon
and Alampur in this district, met the members of the families
of the two jawans and consoled them, according to an official
release.

During his visit to Nandgaon, the native village of
Constable Sandeep Yadav, the Chief Minister met his father
Umed Singh.

Hooda also visited village Alampur where he met the
members of the family of Constable Pardeep Kumar.
He said the Government High School of the village
would be upgraded and named after Kumar.

He said that a sports stadium would also be
constructed in the village and named after Pardeep provided it
fulfilled the norms.
