Disciple accuses Kripalu Ji Maharaj of rape

In a shocking development, Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj has been accused of rape by one of his disciples in Trinidad. Kripalu Ji Maharaj heads the Radha Madhav Society, which has around 300 centres across the globe. His followers consider him to be the 5th Jagadguru of the present age and 1st in the last 700 years.

Port-of-Spain, May 23: In a shocking development, Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj has been accused of rape by one of his disciples in Trinidad. Kripalu Ji Maharaj heads the Radha Madhav Society, which has around 300 centres across the globe. His followers consider him to be the 5th Jagadguru of the present age and 1st in the last 700 years.
Meanwhile, a Trinadad court has granted him bail in the case. He has, however, been barred form leaving the country for the time being and his passport has been confiscated.

The accusations against the 85-yr old guru have been made by a 22-yr old disciple of his from Guyana. The matter is scheduled to come up for hearing in the court on May 29.

The incident, however, has deeply hurt the Indian community in the country. Trinidad has over 40% Indians, out of which around 25% are staunch Hindus.

Kripalu Ji Maharaj has been in Trinidad since May 17.
