Lucknow: Election for the posts of Uttar Pradesh unit chief and national executive members of the BJP will be held in December, a party spokesman said on Wednesday.
"Election for selection of new state chief and national council members will be held in December. The state president and national executive members are elected by state executive members," BJP`s state vice-president Hriday Narain Dixit told
reporters here.
He said the party has finalised the schedule of organisational election in the state and the process will start from October 1. The election for president and members
of local committees will be held between October 1-31.
Divisional presidents and members will be elected between November 1-15, Dixit said, adding that it would be followed by election for the posts of district presidents and state executive which will be held between November 16 to November
20.
