Former MP Sheila Irani passes away

Mysore, Apr 10: Sheila F Irani, former Lok Sabha member and vice-president of Anglo-Indian Association, died here today, family sources said.

Mysore, Apr 10: Sheila F Irani, former Lok Sabha member and vice-president of Anglo-Indian Association, died here today, family sources said.
She was 81.
Irani is survived by two sons and a daughter.

She was nominated to the Lok Sabha as a representative of the Anglo-Indian community, as also to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly between 1969 and 1978.

Irani, wife of industrialist F K Irani, was associated with several organisations and had made contributions in educational and social fields. The couple had settled down in Mysore in 1960.
