Mumbai: Senior BJP leader and former Union Petroleum Minister Ram Naik said today he would not contest the Lok Sabha election and continue to work for his party.
"I contested ten elections - three assembly elections and seven Lok Sabha elections - in 35 years. It was my privilege to get elected (to Lok Sabha) from Mumbai for five consecutive terms," he told reporters.

"I believe my life is meant for public service and this faith helps me to work with vigour and passion even at the age of 80," he said.
