Hamid Ansari meets visually impaired children

A delegation of visually impaired children of National Association for the Blind, along with the office bearers of the association, met Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari here on Monday.

New Delhi: A delegation of visually impaired children of National Association for the Blind, along with the office bearers of the association, met Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari here on Monday.

They pinned a flag on the self of Vice President Ansari to observe their 'All India Flag Day'.

The Vice President interacted with the visually impaired children and blessed them success in their lives. He also donated a token amount for the welfare of the visually handicapped children.

National Association for the Blind is a voluntary organization working for the education and welfare of the visually handicapped children. It observes an All India Flag Day to raise funds as well as to create awareness of the problems faced by the visually handicapped persons.

The association, which is engaged in a number of welfare activities for the visually handicapped, has its headquarter at Mumbai.
