Medininagar (Jharkhand): An Indian Air Force chopper carrying security personnel made an emergency landing at Chiyanchi aerodrum at Medininagar in Jharkhand`s Palamu district following a technical snag on Monday.
Jharkhand Director General of Police G S Rath said over phone that an engineer was rushed from Ranchi to rectify the snag in the chopper.
Rath is on a visit to Garo jungle along with Inspector General level police officers to inspect the ongoing anti-Maoist operation `Octopus-2` there.
