New Delhi: DMK chief M Karunanidhi and
his daughter Kanimozhi, arrested in the 2G spectrum case,
cried when they met at the Tihar jail here yesterday.
"We cried," a composed-looking Kanimozhi said today, a
day after the emotional meeting after her father flew in
especially from Chennai for this purpose.
"Dad is very upset. It is very sad that he has to go
through this at this age," the DMK MP, who is in jail since
Friday, said.
Kanimozhi, who met her half-brother Stalin at the
court today, got to know from him about Karunanidhi`s health.
The former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister left for Chennai in the
evening.
"He has been very worried and has lost a lot of
weight," she said.
Soon after Kanimozhi`s arrest on Friday, Karunanidhi
had said he was sad and maintained that his daughter was
innocent.
