New Delhi: In a strongly worded letter to
BJP President Nitin Gadkari, former party ideologue K N
Govindacharya has asked him to "mind his tongue" and not
indulge in speculation about his return to the party.

Virtually ruling out his re-entry into the BJP,
Govindacharya, who quit the party in 2003, said, "Keeping my
lack of interest in returning to the party-fold in mind, you
and your office-bearers should stop making comments."

He asked the BJP chief to ensure that he was not
dragged into internal squabbles and factional fights of the
organisation.

Govindacharya`s letter came in response to Gadkari`s
statements in an interview to a Hindi daily about
possibilities of his return to the BJP.

"You and your party office-bearers should have thought
about my seniority before giving a statement or an interview,"
he said asking them to "mind your tongue".

"Making me a victim of your party`s internal squabbles
and factional fights hurts my image," he said.

"This leads to confusion among people and creates
hurdles in my work," he added.

The RSS pracharak, who had given his good wishes to
Gadkari when he was appointed BJP chief, said he was forced to
issue this letter as the new president needed to control his
tongue.

"Please do not drag me into your party`s feuds and do
not harm me further by your unnecessary comments," he said.
