Ulaanbaatar: Lok Sabha
Speaker Meira Kumar is expected to visit Mongolia this month
as part of the efforts to enhance parliamentary ties between
the two countries.

"Mongolia is ready to welcome Mrs Kumar", Mongolian
Speaker D Demberel said during a meeting here with Indian
Ambassador to Mongolia Satbir Singh.

Parliamentary ties between the two countries have
played an important role in enhancing bilateral relations, D
Demberel said.

Singh expressed satisfaction with the expansion of
Mongolia-India parliamentary ties and said that he intends to
widen the traditional relations.

Singh also hoped that Demberel will pay a visit to
India in December this year, Mongolian news agency Montsame
reported.

"I have no doubt that during Your office term the
relations between our countries will fruitfully deepen in all
spheres," Demberel said.

He noted that some Indian companies have sought to
collaborate with Mongolia through investing in mineral
deposits especially the Tavan tolgoi, and that negotiations
have been taking place at governmental level on cooperating in
the uranium and nuclear energy sectors.

"The Mongolian side always appreciates India for
realising many projects on involving the Mongolian youth,
students and state servants in electronic hi tech studies in
India," he underlined and expressed a hope that this action
will expand in future.
