`Yoga guru` Swami Ramdev said "his aim is to see a disease free nation with the help of Yoga."

Itanagar: `Yoga guru` Swami Ramdev said "his
aim is to see a disease free nation with the help of Yoga."

"Self control and meditation are the ways to self
realization," Ramdev said while addressing people at the yoga
shibir in border district of the Tawang yesterday, official
sources said here today.
The `Yoga guru` termed the people of Arunachal Pradesh
as "peace-loving, religious and dedicated to nation building"
and said he has a special attachment to them.

Ramdev, who reached Tawang, bordering China yesterday
afternoon from Itanagar, visited the Tawang Monastery and the
war memorial. He paid rich homage to the martyrs of the 1962
Indo-China war and hailed the services of the Army, sources
disclosed.
Abbot of Tawang Monastery Rev Guru Tulka Rimpoche, who
also participated in the yoga shivir, spoke about the place of
yoga in Buddhism and expressed appreciation for Ramdev for
reviving the age-old yoga practices in a more scientific way
to make it appealing to the masses.
