New Delhi: As the chances of Lok Janshakti Party joining the National Democratic Alliance grow stronger, party leader Chirag Paswan on Monday said that a decision on alliance with the latter will be taken after Parliamentary Board`s meeting.

Chirag, the son of LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, also said that since SIT has given a clean chit to Narendra Modi in connection with the Gujarat communal riots cases, there is no debate on the issue, and his party respects the court verdict.

Chirag Paswan`s alleged meeting with BJP chief Rajnath Singh recently had fuelled speculation about an alliance between the two parties in Bihar.

Furthermore, confirming the BJP-LJP alliance, another LJP leader Suraj Bhaan yesterday said that the party will officially make an announcement on this subject very soon. On the other hand, a BJP source also said that possibility of an alliance cannot be ruled out and that the talks between the two parties are going on.

As LJP is all set for an alliance with NDA, Congress seems to be losing a big ally before LS polls.

LJP, which broke the alliance with NDA post Gujarat riots in 2002, is prepare to make a U-turn after RJD and Congress refused to give it more than five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.

However, earlier RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh had said that a secular alliance of the Congress-RJD-LJP will surely send out a positive message.
